“Curiosity Never Retires” is our motto. When you become a member of our lifelong learning community, you'll have a lot of fun in an intellectually stimulating atmosphere, and you'll meet many very interesting people. In fact, many OLLI members remark that they came to learn, but in the process acquired a whole new set of friends.

Full Members take up to three study groups in the fall, winter-mini, spring, and summer for a total of 12 study groups per year.

All members may receive/do:

• Training in how to lead and participate in good discussions
• Weekly drop-in computer user group
• Newsletters, website, and member listserv

Full Members receive a Northwestern University student WildCARD ID card with the following privileges:

• Full access to 7 libraries with over 4 million books
• Free campus and inter-campus shuttles
• Free access to campus computer labs
• Reduced rates to audit School of Continuing Studies and Summer Session courses
• Affiliate rates to join the University campus athletic facilities
• Snacks and meals at campus student centers
• Student discounts

All members participate in extracurricular activities such as:

• Noon Lecture Series
• Social and cultural events: dinners, brunches, City excursions, discounted theater tickets, concerts, Poetry & Pizza, coffees
• Travel/Study
• OLLI governing Advisory Council and many governing committees
• Intergenerational opportunities
• Annual juried literary magazine, The Journal
• Notices about campus goings-on throughout the year
