Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Exam Review Program
The Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential
is the premier certification for anti-fraud professionals
around the world. CFEs are specialists in the deterrence,
detection and investigation of fraud and encompass a broad
range of skills which uniquely qualifies the holder to effectively
combat fraud.
Heightened fraud awareness combined
with new laws and regulations have increased the already
growing demand in the workforce for professionals who are
highly skilled at fighting fraud. If you are considering
becoming a certified fraud examiner, this course helps you
master the main subject areas covered on the exam: financial
transactions; legal elements of fraud; fraud investigation;
and criminology and ethics. The combination of classroom
instruction and preparation software provides a solid background

This course supplements the content learned in Northwestern
University's Investigation
and Prevention of Commercial Fraud Certificate Program.
Those interested in additional accounting skills may consider
taking the Finance and Accounting for Non-Financial Managers course.
Notes: Northwestern does not certify an individual to use
the CFE designation. The CFE is granted only by the CFE board
to those persons who have met its ethics, experience and
examination requirements.
Continuing Education Credits
C.P.E. credit will be offered to CPAs. CE credit will be
offered to insurance professionals and internal auditors.
