Borrowing Privileges
A current University student ID (WildCARD) serves as a library
card to charge out library materials. Lost cards should be
reported immediately to the WildCARD Office at Norris University
Center or at Abbott Hall, and to the Library Privileges Desk
on the Evanston Campus or the Chicago campus. Students are
responsible for all books charged out on a lost card before
it has been reported. Cards are nontransferable.
Undergraduate students may check out books for an initial
period of four weeks. All materials are subject to recall
after the first two weeks, if needed by another user or immediately
if needed for reserve. Late returns will be fined and charged
to your account. These fines will jeopardize your account
status and will prevent students from registering for classes.
