Advanced Placement Summer Institute - Location, Accommodations & Parking
Location
The Northwestern Advanced Placement Summer Institute will be held in Wieboldt Hall on Northwestern's Chicago campus at 339 E. Chicago Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. For directions to the Northwestern campus in Chicago, please visit: http://www.northwestern.edu/visiting/directions/
Parking
Discounted parking validation in certain lots on campus during the AP Summer Institute will be available for purchase after registration. Parking validation costs $60 for a five-day pass and must be requested by June 26th. Participants who wish to purchase a parking pass must deliver their Parking Request Form (indicating the workshop and session for which they are registered), along with a separate check for $60.00 (payable to Northwestern University), to the Office of the Summer Session no later than Friday, June 26, 2009. You will receive an email confirmation on Thursday, July 2, that your request was received. Only participants who are registered for the AP Summer Institute may request a discounted parking validation. Passes will be distributed at check-in to registered requests only. Separate Parking Validation Request Forms and separate checks are required for those needing parking passes for both Session One and Session Two. Please send or hand-deliver your request form to:

Purchase of a parking pass does not guarantee a parking spot. Parking passes will not be available for purchase through the Summer Session Office or the School of Continuing Studies during the AP Summer Institutes. |
Parking (up to 24 hours) is available at either of two University garages on Northwestern's Chicago campus: the 222 E. Huron Self-Park designated as "Lot C", or the 321 E. Accommodations
On-campus housing is not available for the AP Summer Institute. The following hotels are conveniently located within walking distance to the Wieboldt Hall, where the institute will be held. These particular hotels is not based on any recommendation, but are simply listed for your convenience in finding accommodations during your visit.
