Welcome
Welcome to Summer Session 2008!
Summer at Northwestern brings a variety of courses and programs to fit your needs. Whether you are a continuing Northwestern
student or a visiting
student from another university, a School
of Continuing Studies student or a high
school student, an individual seeking professional
development or personal
enrichment, you'll find many ways to get ahead and learn something new this summer.
Choose from over 300 course
offerings, where you'll find courses in nearly every subject, from Accounting to Theatre. Or enroll in one of the intensive language and science sequences, where you can earn a full year of credit in subjects like biology, chemistry, physics, Arabic or Chinese. You'll also discover an exciting selection of non-credit summer
institutes, including Art
and Craft: the Northwestern Writers' Conference, a four-day program for writers from across the country, and the Green
City Summer Institute, a three-day program that explores Chicago as one of the greenest cities in America. And all summer long, you can enjoy the many sports and recreational activities, musical and dramatic performances, lectures, and cultural events hosted on our campuses in both Evanston and Chicago. Whatever your interest might be, we invite you explore Northwestern this summer.
