Auditing Courses

Students may audit certain courses. Auditors do not receive a grade or credit. They attend all lectures and participate in discussions but not in work that the instructor critiques. Courses that require group projects, oral presentations, and frequent written assignments may not be audited; they are so indicated in the individual course descriptions. Students may change their registration from audit to credit prior to the second meeting of the class. The fee for auditing is $660 for SCS students and $350 for members of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
